CALCULATING YOUR CALORIE

ASSALAMUALAIKUM AND GOOD MORNING

IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME,
SORRY FOR THE LATE POST GUYS, BEEN BUSY WITH ASSIGNMENTS AND EXAMS.


HOWS YOUR PROGRESS?

ON THIS POST AS I PROMISE, I WILL TRY TO EXPLAIN ON HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR CALORIES ACCORDING TO MY OWN UNDERSTANDING.

AS I STATED BEFORE 70% OF OUR RESULT COMES FROM OUR DIET. SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW OUR CALORIES IN AND OUT OF OUR BODY.

FIRST STEP.
KNOW YOUR BMR OR BASAL METABOLIC RATE


BMR ARE CALORIES THAT BURN WHEN YOU ARE IN A REST STATE OR IN OTHER WORD CALORIE BURN WHEN UR NOT DOING ANY EXERCISE, USUALLY USE TO MAINTAIN YOUR HEART PUMPING THE BLOOD THROUGHOUT THE BODY, YOUR BREATHING AND MANY MORE.

WHY BMR IS IMPORTANT IN OUR DIET.

AS FOR ME MY BMR ARE 1800 AND IN A ONE DAY I WILL EXERCISE AND TRY TO BURN AT LEAST 1000 CALORIES.SO MY CALORIE BURN IN ONE DAY IS 2800 CALORIES. IN ORDER TO LOSE WEIGHT YOUR CALORIE INTAKE MUST BE LESS THAN THE CALORIE YOU BURN FOR EXAMPLE I TRY TO EAT LESS THAN 2000 CALORIE FOR ONE DAY.(3500 CALORIES IS EQUIVALENT TO 500G OF FAT). SO IF 800 CAL X 7 DAY = 5600 SO FOR ONE WEEK I'll ESTIMATE THAT I WILL LOSE AROUND 1 KG OF FAT.

SECOND STEP

RECORD WHAT YOU ATE THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND AT THE END OF THE WEEK, CHECK YOUR WEIGHT.COMPARE THE PREVIOUS AND CURRENT WEIGHT RESPECTIVELY.IF THERE'S NO CHANGE IN YOUR WEIGHT THERE'S MIGHT BE SOME ERROR IN YOUR CURRENT DIET
DIFFERENT INDIVIDUAL COMES WITH DIFFERENT DIET PLAN. LEARN TO READ NUTRITIONAL VALUES AT THE BACK OF YOUR FOOD PACKAGING OR YOU CAN GOOGLE IT.
THIS IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DIET PLAN RUNS SMOOTHLY.

LAST STEP

KNOW WHAT IS GOOD CALORIE AND BAD CALORIE.
EXAMPLE
EVEN THOUGHT OLIVE OIL AND PALM OIL HAVE THE SAME CALORIES. BUT OLIVE OIL IS BETTER THAN PALM OIL BECAUSE OF THEIR CHEMICAL STRUCTURE(USUALLY FREE FROM FATTY ACID)
